Historical Fiction Author Stephen Asher Holds His Book, Ceremony of Innocence

Stephen Asher: At a Glance

Stephen Asher is a graduate of UCLA, the University of Rochester School of Medicine, the University of California School of Medicine (San Francisco), and served as a fellow at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford. He has authored essays and short pieces, some appearing in the sporting literature, and is a proud supporter of PEN America. His professional career, spanning 40 years, was as a clinical neurologist with a particular emphasis on the disorders of movement. He and his wife live in Idaho where they raised three accomplished children and enjoy living in synchrony with Idaho’s gentle four seasons. In quiet moments at home, he works through his to be read list or plays cello.
